SUMMARY
ASM Global is seeking a dedicated Facility Operations Coordinator to support the operational functions at our venue. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations and events by managing various tasks personally or through subordinate staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the management team in overseeing all facets of facility operations, including engineering, grounds maintenance, technical services, event management, public safety, and custodial services.
- Collaborate with other departments and external contractors to ensure cohesive operational activities.
- Enforce facility policies, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Proactively identify potential issues and develop effective solutions. Investigate and resolve operational challenges and customer complaints.
- Communicate directives clearly and promptly to relevant departments.
- Ensure that the operations team is well-informed to optimize facility usage and staffing.
- Guarantee readiness of the venue and facilitate smooth event operations.
- Supervise the upkeep of the facility and its systems.
- Support the Manager on Duty as necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Management or Maintenance Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of operational experience in a comparable facility.
- Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Fundamental knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate cash handling.
- Experience in food preparation.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks effectively.
- Exhibit a positive demeanor and maintain a professional appearance.
- This role requires frequent lifting and the ability to carry up to 25 lbs, along with significant standing and walking.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
In performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 50 pounds and walking considerable distances. This role involves working in various environments, both indoors and outdoors, and may require standing or sitting for extended periods.
