Job Summary

Astrion, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Facility Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our facilities, ensuring the safety and security of our employees, and maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for emergency management and building management.
  • Provide training and guidance to building occupants on emergency management procedures.
  • Work with the Hanscom Base Safety Manager and other base personnel to coordinate emergency and safety management processes and procedures.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
  • Record and maintain information on safety certifications and inspections.
  • Manage data, adjust and track work orders.
  • Project and coordinate work schedules and recurring work details with management/supervisors of building occupants.
  • Monitor service calls and do-it-now emergency response teams.
  • Coordinate with engineering technicians for mechanical equipment, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, and related preventative maintenance programs.
  • Track the assignment of reserved parking spaces.
  • Track the cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
  • Support Group readiness for Base Readiness Exercises and Unit Compliance Inspection activities as required.
  • Help manage the Division self-inspection process, including checklist tracking and completion, as requested by MICT Administrator.
  • Assist with Emergency Management procedures (e.g., Building Evacuation Plans) to accomplish occupant compliance with accountability requirements.
  • Escort personnel, visitors, and other parties as needed to complete work duties, subject to local security office or organizational policies.

Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of emergency management and building management.
  • Ability to work with contractors, vendors, base civil engineers, and other base personnel on all activities required to maintain the office building.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
