Cloud Operations Specialist - The Opportunity:


As a Cloud Operations Specialist, you are adept at designing, implementing, and sustaining efficient CI/CD pipelines that facilitate reliable software delivery while conforming to industry best practices and standards.

Your proficiency in cloud operations, automation, and DevOps methodologies is enhanced by a solid grasp of network protocols and security measures, enabling you to tackle challenges effectively in these domains.

You will demonstrate the capability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud operations align with organizational objectives.


Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a Cloud Operations role

Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance regulations

Experience in software development and modernization initiatives, including advanced technologies such as cloud automation platforms, enterprise data solutions, and open-source technology stacks

Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Understanding of testing frameworks and methodologies, such as unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies

Experience in cloud operations, particularly with Azure and AWS

Eligibility to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools

Ability to adapt to new technologies

Master's degree in a relevant field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 annually.

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package.

Work Model:
