Job Title: Cloud Operations Specialist

Sev1Tech is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to provide cloud operations and engineering support services to a government customer with a significant mission for security and public safety.

The contract will encompass a wide range of tasks, including program management, monitoring, analysis, and incident response, as well as tier 3 engineering and O&M, field engineering technical support, and cloud operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting issues for cloud compute, storage, and application hosting platforms.
  • Monitoring and analyzing cloud computing statistics and systems using CSP statistical feeds and monitoring tool alert captures.
  • Conducting real-time monitoring and triaging of security alerts from SIEM, system, network appliance, cloud service, email, and endpoint systems.
  • Monitoring voice and electronic sources for notification of network and cloud incidents, outages, and service degradations.

Minimum qualifications include a BA or BS degree or at least 5 years of IT work experience in federal government contracting, 5 or more years of experience as a Cloud Analyst, and experience monitoring networks, applications, and platforms in the cloud and on-prem.

Clearance requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher, Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection preferred.

Desired qualifications include CSP Certification and DHS experience.
