Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Analyst to join our team at Sev1Tech. As a Cloud Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with cloud operations and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud compute, storage, and application hosting platforms for DHS
• Monitor and analyze cloud computing statistics and systems to identify potential issues
• Conduct real-time monitoring and triaging of security alerts from various systems
• Collaborate with IT Operations Cloud Computing Tier 2 Team, OCIO Solution Development Directorate (SDD) Cloud Tier 3 Teams, and other stakeholders to recommend modifications to cloud-based environments and configurations

Requirements

• BA or BS degree, or at least 5 years of IT work experience in federal government contracting
• 5 or more years of experience as a Cloud Analyst
• Experience monitoring networks, applications, and platforms in the cloud and on-prem including data centers
• Cloud operations experience with systems and data hosted in Microsoft and AWS environments
• Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to triage and efficiently escalate network and security issues
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with DHS or Customs & Border Protection preferred
