As a Cloud Support Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions to support the development, deployment, and sustainment of the Department of State's Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain software deployment, testing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
  • Implement Department of State security measures to protect cloud resources, including network security, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost optimization and implement proactive measures to address issues and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal groups.
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a federal clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum Five (5) years of experience with using and supporting a broad range of cloud technologies (e.g. EC2, ECR, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, ELB, EFS, EBD, S3, VPC, SNS, SQS, SES, CloudWatch, Route 53) to develop and maintain a suite of client ICAM and XTA solutions with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
  • Integration experience and knowledge of both Microsoft Entra and Okta functionality, provisioning, and interface requirements.
