Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator

Grady Health System is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team.
About the RoleThe Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for ensuring compliance to established policies, procedures, and regulations required to maintain a department's program(s) of services. This includes managing education/training programs and services, developing related goals and objectives, recommending policies, and evaluating program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate educational and clinical experiences.
- Provide clinical leadership and serve as a role model and facilitator of learning and resource for the translation of skills and knowledge into clinical practice.
- Direct patient/family care, consultation, change agent, teaching/coaching/mentoring, research, patient advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development.
- A minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience.
- Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Certified AHA ECC Instructor - BLS (required within 6 months of hire) ACLS and/or PALS (desired).
