Position Overview: The Production Supervisor will manage the daily operations of a production team, overseeing multiple production lines and shifts within a manufacturing and packaging setting to guarantee the effective production and packaging of goods.

This position operates on a night shift schedule from 6pm to 6am, following a 2-2-3 rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervises employees engaged in manufacturing and/or packaging across various production lines and shifts, allocates tasks, and modifies workloads to achieve production targets. Schedules and oversees training, monitors product quality, and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Ensures compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, reviews changes to Standard Operating Procedures for all plant operations, and supervises training and adherence to ensure SOPs are maintained.
  • Contributes specialized knowledge or expertise to management and supervisory teams in the development and execution of ongoing processes or special initiatives.
  • May assess or test process modifications and recommend their adoption or rejection, oversee ongoing or special maintenance or installation projects, and collaborate with engineering teams to select or evaluate new machinery, both for capital projects and auxiliary equipment.
  • May engage in capacity or budget planning, collect and analyze data, and present recommendations to the plant manager or other management personnel.
  • Tracks and documents performance metrics, prepares statistical and management reports for operations leadership, and completes necessary documentation.
Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the field is required. A four-year degree is preferred, although candidates with extensive supervisory experience will also be considered.
