Responsibilities:
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, with evening shifts. Multiple positions are available.
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the role involves the manufacturing of components in accordance with established procedures, utilizing molds and both automatic and semi-automatic machinery.
Essential Job Functions:
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Follow the Standard Method Sheet to ensure correct materials and methods are used.
- Conduct inspections as defined by the Quality Control Plan.
- Achieve or surpass required production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness of molds and machinery.
- Ensure a tidy and organized workspace at all times.
- Comply with all company policies and codes of conduct.
- Operate molding and casting machinery.
- Follow manufacturing instructions and data sheets.
- Manage compression or injection molding processes.
- Interpret specifications to determine setup and prescribed temperature and timing settings.
- Pour materials into molds and remove finished products.
- Inspect items for surface defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Position and secure assembled molds and components.
- Prevent the production of defective items.
- Take direction from supervisors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent training and/or experience with a focus on general studies.
Experience:
No prior experience required; manufacturing experience is advantageous.
Other Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work.
- Capable of understanding and following written instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer literacy is essential.
Physical Demands:
Medium Work - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand continuously and perform repetitive tasks, utilizing hands and arms throughout the shift. Production Operators are expected to lift 50 pounds and remain on their feet while performing repetitive actions for extended periods.
Due to the nature of manufacturing, some positions may require overtime. Compliance with OSHA and local environmental regulations necessitates mandatory safety training, protective gear, and adherence to chemical handling procedures.
