About the Role
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with landowners, providing expert guidance and support to help them achieve their forestry goals.
  • Collaborate with our technical operations team to plan and implement projects that promote sustainable forestry practices and carbon sequestration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to landowners, ensuring a positive experience and excellent stewardship of their land.
  • Work closely with our national forestry team to identify opportunities for program growth and improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct remote consultations and on-site visits with landowners to assess their forest management needs and develop customized plans to achieve their goals.
  • Utilize advanced forestry tools and software to analyze forest data and make recommendations for sustainable forest management practices.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of landowner interactions, project progress, and program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and address any challenges or obstacles that may impact program success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in forestry, natural resource management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in forestry, conservation, or a related field, with a focus on landowner engagement and technical assistance.
  • Strong knowledge of forestry practices, including forest management planning, silviculture, and forest measurement techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with landowners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and program excellence.
