Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landlord Liaison to join our team at the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with landlords and property owners, promoting the Housing Choice Voucher program, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach and marketing efforts to recruit new landlords and property owners to participate in the Housing Choice Voucher program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, management companies, and other partners to promote the program and provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and educational events to landlords and property owners on the Housing Choice Voucher program requirements.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of landlord and property owner information.
  • Assist with the preparation of lease documents and the closing process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in business administration, public administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative experience in the Housing Choice Voucher program or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software programs as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
