Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dialysis team at Health Systems Management, Inc. As a Home Training Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in educating patients on prescribed dialysis treatment and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on prescribed dialysis treatment, including modality options and home dialysis requirements.
  • Prospective Patient Evaluation: Meet and evaluate prospective new home therapy patients to explain modality options and home dialysis requirements.
  • Nursing Care: Render highly professional and technical nursing care to dialysis patients, including health maintenance and disease prevention education.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to manage patient care at home, including referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
  • Patient Advocacy: Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing processes, ensuring a secure and safe patient environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensure: Current RN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-year RN experience, required.
  • Skills: Excellent bedside manner and communication skills, willingness to work a flexible schedule, and ability to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance.
