Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dialysis team at Health Systems Management, Inc. as a Home Training Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient education on prescribed dialysis treatment and modality options.
  • Evaluate prospective new home therapy patients and explain modality requirements.
  • Rend highly professional and technical nursing care to dialysis patients.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members in patient care management.
  • Interact with patients and families to provide instruction and assess daily patient care needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using nursing processes.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to achieve highest standards of care.
  • Ensure a secure and safe patient environment by following safety policies and standards of care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1-year RN experience, required.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
  • Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test.
