Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer - Utilities to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and control systems, with a focus on utilities automation. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining utilities automation systems, as well as providing technical support and guidance to other teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement utilities automation systems, including monitoring and control systems
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams, including troubleshooting and maintenance of utilities automation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve utilities automation systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in automation machine control, process control, utilities automation, and environmental control systems
- Strong knowledge of automation platforms, including PLC, DCS, DDC, and PAT
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Delta-V and Rockwell Automation Systems
- Knowledge of GMPs and pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
