Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Peptide Process Automation Specialist to join our team at Lilly. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing automation strategies that enable our operators to interact and manipulate processes in compliance with cGMP batch manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automation strategies that allow operators to interact and manipulate processes in compliance with cGMP batch manufacturing requirements.
  • Generate and update design SDLC documentation.
  • Partner with colleagues to support the automation discipline through solution assessment, replication, and development.
  • Manage tools and implement engineering standards, master specifications, and best practices.
  • Provide technical coaching and consultation to other Lilly engineers and facilitate shared learning forums.
  • Support projects and the integration of new equipment/technologies to the manufacturing workflow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in automation or process control.
  • Experience with Emerson DeltaV Systems, Rockwell Automation, AVEVA/OSI/PI Historian, or related automation and control platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely.
  • Significant experience and strong problem-solving skills in measurements, control (process and/or manufacturing), control systems, integration, and data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage people and projects to deliver a common set of objectives.
  • Knowledge of GMP's and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Operating Systems.
