Job Description

This outside sales position involves promoting Sysco's products and services to existing and new accounts while building strong relationships with customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new business opportunities, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost sales to achieve profitable growth and special objectives within assigned territories.
  • Seeking and qualifying prospects based on company account stratification goals.
  • Researching customer business needs and recommending products and services to meet those needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving personal vehicles to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings while communicating effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide value-added services. They will also be required to manage deliveries according to routing schedules and troubleshoot any problems that may arise during the order process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts or have equivalent relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include bi-lingual abilities, restaurant management experience, and valid driver's licenses with clean driving records.
