This role will commence as a customer service representative position, with the potential to evolve into an agent role based on demonstrated skills and progress. We seek someone who excels in a dynamic professional setting and is open to travel across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, directing inquiries appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Facilitate new client intake processes for agents to provide quotes.
- Collaborate with your team lead on various tasks, including but not limited to:
- Maintain organized digital client records following Big I Minnesota protocols.
- Engage in training projects assigned by your team lead.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, respond to correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
- Interact with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to address questions and clarify information.
- Assist in updating and maintaining client contact details.
- Conduct research on inquiries related to client accounts.
- Organize schedules and manage appointments.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as required.
- Travel as necessary for company training and collaboration.
- Effectively manage and execute tasks across the organization.
- Embrace travel opportunities to foster teamwork and support across our various locations.
Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain an insurance license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support is preferred.
- Proven customer service experience and orientation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, colleagues, and external contacts.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficient technical skills and familiarity with business software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems).
- Capability to multitask and maintain focus amid frequent interruptions.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
