Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Ambulatory Clinics, UT Health Austin

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Supervisor to lead our ambulatory care units at UT Health Austin. The successful candidate will oversee the daily activities of clinical support staff, ensuring effective staffing schedules and providing regular coaching and feedback.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and oversee the daily activities of clinical support staff within assigned ambulatory care units.
- Ensure staff are adequately onboarded, continuous training and competencies are completed, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Delegate effectively to share responsibilities with others and assist with electronic health record clinical inboxes.
- Act as the first escalation point of contact within assigned ambulatory care unit for patient and other clinical matters.
- Provide patient education as needed and maintain supply inventory within clinical units.
- Provide direct nursing care to patient population as needed based on clinic staffing ratios.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in ambulatory care nursing and leadership.
- Knowledge of electronic health records and clinical inboxes.
