Surgical Technologist, Ambulatory Surgery Center, UT Health Austin

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at the Ambulatory Surgery Center at UT Health Austin. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures, including setting up equipment and instruments.
- Maintain asepsis and sterile technique during procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the procedure.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
- 1+ year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
