**Candidates must reside locally.

Objective:
ITProFound is in search of several Technical Support Specialists to deliver direct, first-line assistance to educational institutions and administrative facilities.

Overview:
The Technical Support Specialist will be designated to one or more educational facilities or offices. The number of assigned sites will be determined by the student population and staff size.

Supervision will be provided by the IT Manager for the designated area to fulfill the operational requirements of the assigned institution.


Contract Length:
Initial term of 1 year

Annual renewal option based on performance evaluation.

Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's degree (preferred)
3+ years of experience in technical support roles. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be taken into account.

Job Responsibilities:
This role will be performed on-site at various educational facilities or other locations as needed in the metropolitan area. The specialist will work Monday through Friday, with hours adjusted to align with the operational hours of Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, as well as special events.

Technical support specialists are expected to collect necessary components or materials required to resolve issues from the designated IT storage facility.



Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
A+ Certification
Excellent customer service abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient understanding of network systems and wireless technology
Prior experience in direct support roles is essential
Microsoft Windows certification is advantageous
ITIL experience or certification is beneficial
Must possess a clean criminal record and be able to pass a background check
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
