Job Description

Leica Biosystems is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our Inside Sales team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for collaborating with our field sales team to execute campaign initiatives, proactively selling products and services across various verticals, and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect existing and potential new customers through phone and email to drive product sales and customer engagement.
  • Speak confidently about LBS's Instruments/Consumables/Services to customers, articulating detailed information to sales reps and managers regarding active sales campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign activity and results, making data-driven decisions for future campaigns.
  • Stay informed about product changes to engage in meaningful conversations with customers.
  • Make assigned daily outreach calls as part of campaign initiatives/hunting activities.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS Degree -OR- Equivalent work experience
  • Multifaceted, hardworking individual to implement sales activities.
  • Self-starter with a positive outlook while passionate about quality work that strives to achieve desired metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and planning skills.
  • Must be comfortable communicating with leadership and management, as well as cross-functionally.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 20% - Annual sales meeting, occasional field travel for development, and team meetings
