Position Title: Maintenance Helper

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Maintenance Helper to support our operations. This role involves working within a structured schedule and is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular evaluations of building systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform assessments, inspections, and data analysis to verify the effective operation of machinery.
  • Execute minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and service requests for equipment and systems within the facility.
  • Manage maintenance tasks related to plumbing, including water supply and sanitation systems.
  • Assist with snow removal activities as needed.
  • Support engineering staff in various tasks.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Availability to work any assigned shift.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires significant walking, bending, kneeling, and working in various physical positions.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health and welfare benefits in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Compensation Rate: $28.47 per hour
