At Mike Keith Insurance, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to support our commercial Property and Casualty business.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills, with a minimum of two years of previous office experience and an existing P&C license for the state of Missouri or a willingness to obtain one within 90 days of the hire date.
Key Responsibilities- Assist account managers with servicing designated books of business, including marketing, claims, and administration.
- Respond to client inquiries, document communications, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure essential tasks are completed for clients at appropriate times in the service cycle.
- Maintain excellent carrier relationships to provide client advocacy at appropriate times.
- Resolve client issues with a sense of urgency to avoid disruptions in client service and/or coverage.
- Inform account managers/producers of situations that could impact account retention and/or client satisfaction.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Minimum 2 years of business/office experience preferred.
- Team player who takes initiative and is self-motivated to continuous learning and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
- Able to operate independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a detail-focused approach.
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
