Position: Business Development Specialist - Mission Critical Engineering

The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies to enhance the firm's presence and profitability in the Data Center and Critical Facilities sectors while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships in the Mission Critical Data Center and associated commercial markets.
  • Leverage your network of industry contacts, including contractors, equipment suppliers, and architectural firms, to generate new business leads.
  • Build strong relationships with leading data center providers to promote our engineering and commissioning services.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and briefings.
  • Foster positive relationships with current business partners to encourage additional business opportunities.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to showcase the company's design and build services.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience in Business Development within professional services, design/build, commissioning, or construction management focused on Mission Critical Facilities.
  • Proficiency in Solution Selling and experience in engaging with C-level executives.
  • A well-established network within the Mission Critical/Data Center industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and closing profitable deals through a strategic sales approach.
  • Experience in leading strategy sessions and delivering multi-media presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills across various platforms.
  • Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
  • Active involvement in local and national data center organizations.
  • Military experience is a plus, particularly in roles related to Electrical/Mechanical fields.
