Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Support Representative to join our team at Kimball Midwest, a leading distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced call center environment where you will be the first point of contact for resolving customer issues.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for serving as the first point of contact in the Credit & Collections department for customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Answers incoming phone calls, resolves issues for customers and provides invoice and statement copies to customers upon request
  • Updates customer accounts with payment arrangements, contact information and relevant notes from interactions
  • Escalates accounts requiring further action to the appropriate team members or management, providing all necessary documentation and context
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including sales, finance and marketing to address and resolve customer issues efficiently

About You:

  • Experience in a customer service support role
  • Experience in a call center is preferred
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Comfortable handling high call volume
  • Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
