About the Role

MU Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in office operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, independent approach to handling diverse business tasks, from managing data and maintaining recordkeeping systems to crafting detailed reports and coordinating complex plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enter/extract data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in recordkeeping and tracking systems.
  • Research, gather information, and organize data to prepare complex reports, presentations, and summaries of various materials, as well as compose and edit a variety of correspondence.
  • Oversee, review, and reconcile accountants, patient accounts or payroll reports, prepare HR-related documents, calculate/record leave usage for departmental employees and respond to related inquiries.
  • Support preparation of complex plans, tracking systems, bids, and/or proposals, maintaining accurate records of processes.
  • Work closely with vendors, customers, and/or internal or external constituencies, scheduling appointments and managing the calendar.
  • Oversee and/or order supplies and office equipment, process and sign requisitions, vouchers, and related documents.
  • Provide guidance, instruction, train, and assign/delegate work as appropriate, completing unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
  • One (1) year of experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
