Key ResponsibilitiesThe Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care by overseeing daily operations and staffing within the department. Responsibilities include:
- Establishing a strong clinical identity by implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.
- Driving efforts to standardize clinical practices and enhance operational efficiency.
- Meeting internal and external performance benchmarks and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Managing patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
- Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patient needs effectively.
- Providing leadership to foster an exceptional patient experience and instilling a culture of accountability.
- Utilizing feedback mechanisms to identify and implement strategies for improving patient satisfaction.
- Coaching and developing staff to enhance performance and engagement.
- Managing staffing levels and operational costs to ensure resource efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare environment is necessary.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the relevant state is required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
- Specialty certification must be obtained within six months for new hires.
