Job Summary:

As a Radiological Operations Specialist with the Department of State Health Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of radiological instruments and training programs in accordance with federal and state guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plans for radiological emergency preparedness and response
  • Coordinate training and technical assistance for emergency response teams
  • Evaluate and interpret statistical and environmental radiation data
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to instrument technicians

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in health physics or related field
  • Experience in radiological operations and emergency response
  • Strong technical and communication skills
