Job Summary:
As a Radiological Operations Specialist with the Department of State Health Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the Radiological Instrument and Training Operations are conducted in accordance with Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Energy contract guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience in radiological emergency preparedness and response, as well as strong technical skills in radiation safety and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans for radiological emergency preparedness and response
- Conduct training and exercises for emergency response teams
- Provide technical guidance and support for radiation safety and emergency response activities
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective radiological emergency preparedness and response
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as health physics or a related field
- Experience in radiological emergency preparedness and response
- Strong technical skills in radiation safety and emergency response
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
