Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Building Engineer to join our team at Servi-Tek. The Chief Building Engineer is responsible for overseeing all engineering projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance. They will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, overseeing maintenance management, and ensuring all electrical and mechanical systems are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Oversee all engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Team Management: Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
  4. System Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of all electrical and mechanical systems to identify potential issues and ensure they are functioning properly.
  5. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed.
  6. Electrical Systems: Ensure all electrical systems, including low and high voltage, are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure all projects are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  8. Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
  9. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  10. Process Improvement: Develop and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  1. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance.
  2. Project Management: Proven experience in project management and maintenance management.
  3. Electrical Systems: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including both low and high voltage.
  4. Logic Controllers: Extensive experience with logic controllers and HVAC systems.
  5. Mechanical Knowledge: Deep mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial maintenance.
  6. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and other staff members.
  7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Communication: Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  9. Industry Experience: Experience in the Life Sciences sector is preferred.
