Role Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is tasked with the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of manufacturing processes within the PMO. This role involves providing technical expertise and leadership, particularly in areas such as Welding, Assembly, or Warehousing, while overseeing a team of approximately five individuals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously refine all manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, including part allocations in SAP.
- Specify manufacturing process equipment and tools with precision.
- Supervise and mentor Manufacturing Engineering staff in their various roles.
- Formulate and oversee short, mid, and long-term planning for manufacturing operations.
- Initiate and manage engineering changes necessary for operational efficiency.
- Facilitate capital and expense purchases as required.
- Support manufacturing operations to optimize performance.
- Communicate technical process information effectively to service teams, distributors, and end-users.

Global Collaboration
Establish and maintain effective communication with Komatsu's global network, including interactions with parent plants and overseas operations.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent) is essential.
- A minimum of five years of manufacturing experience with a solid grounding in engineering principles is required.
- Proficiency in fabrication tooling, welding, assembly, and machining processes is necessary.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience to design and enhance manufacturing processes.

Skills
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate positively within the Manufacturing Engineering team and with corporate customers.
- Ability to articulate the economic benefits of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in software applications such as 3D CAD (Pro Engineer), SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this position, the associate must possess the ability to navigate various locations, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and handle light to medium weights ranging from 10 to 50 pounds. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential, along with the capability to operate equipment and read application information.
