About the Role:

As a CBRE AR Accounting Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for all accounts receivable processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking and reporting AR-related KPIs
  • Providing formal supervision to employees, monitoring their training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching
  • Coordinating and managing the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff
  • Motivating and negotiating with employees, management, and client groups to take desired actions
  • Confirming financial and operational reports are accurate and providing reliable information for informed business decisions
  • Participating in system conversions and enhancements, providing scoping information, testing, and feedback
  • Ensuring systems follow financial processes and procedures, accounting standards, legal tax requirements, management expectations, and applicable regulations
  • Assisting with audit procedures, setting department deadlines, forecasting, and preparing budgets
  • Administering accounting practices to ensure client satisfaction
  • Creating presentations for employees, clients, top management, and public groups
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and education
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
  • Advanced math skills to calculate complex financial calculations
