SAIC is seeking a talented ICAM Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a hybrid work environment, with onsite requirements to be determined later.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a senior member of the ICAM operations team, executing critical duties and responsibilities.
  • Provide advanced engineering design and operational support to deliver enterprise-level solutions utilizing both physical and virtual networking technologies, server hosting, and storage solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive white papers outlining technical systems solutions and incremental roadmaps.
  • Engage daily with government clients to address technical requirements for Data Center and Overseas infrastructure initiatives.
  • Utilize domain knowledge and technical decision-making to significantly influence project implementation and execution.
  • Architect, engineer, and deploy hosting solutions for ICAM systems (including SailPoint and Radiant Logic) to support over 100,000 users.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify their functional needs and translate these into hardware and software requirements.
  • Guide the project team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Contribute to the development of enterprise policies and directives.
  • Provide Tier III support for deployed systems.
  • Participate in functional or user acceptance testing to ensure that the final product aligns with customer expectations.
  • Review and document the functionality of existing legacy applications.
  • Create technical specifications and white papers as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with government points of contact regarding project activities and status updates.
  • Plan, research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment and related technologies.
  • Develop contingency plans for software and hardware failures, including isolated and major outages.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with three years of related experience in network management. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and operating ICAM systems such as SailPoint (preferred), Radiant Logic (preferred), Okta, CyberArk, etc.
  • Knowledge of Data Center architectures and designs for large-scale operations.
  • Experience with Large Scale Storage Area Network Systems (Design, Build, Operate).
  • Familiarity with VMware (Design, Build, Operate).
  • Understanding of Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft File Systems, Operating Systems, and Applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft OS and Wintel systems.
  • A systems engineering background with a solid understanding of Cloud Computing Reference Architecture.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. An interim Top Secret clearance is required to commence work.
