Responsibilities

We are offering a sign-on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. As a Medical Assistant at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patient charts and ensuring all information is up-to-date
  • Assisting with procedures and administering medications as directed by the physician
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Managing medical records and performing accurate vital sign measurements
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or military training equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Medical terminology and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
  • Current BLS certification
