ResponsibilitiesWe are offering a sign-on bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. As a Medical Assistant at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patient charts and ensuring all information is up-to-date
- Assisting with procedures and administering medications as directed by the physician
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Communicating with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Managing medical records and performing accurate vital sign measurements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or military training equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Medical terminology and familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures
- Current BLS certification
