About this role:

The Product Manager, Pt and Physician Marketing is a key position at Boston Scientific, responsible for developing and executing patient, physician, and provider marketing strategies on a franchise level. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, clinical acumen, and the ability to influence leadership and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global business planning activities focused on market development.
  • Work closely with product managers and key stakeholders to identify new markets and franchise opportunities.
  • Lead patient marketing, referral marketing, and provider marketing strategies, collaborating with digital marketing, public relations, professional education, and professional affairs teams.
  • Develop and deliver materials to support deployable marketing initiatives at the local level.
  • Partner with franchise management to execute market science programs, formulate franchise market segmentation, product positioning, messaging, and concept-marketing techniques, and develop tools and channel strategy.
  • Contribute to setting market development and planning priorities.
  • Contribute to franchise global downstream marketing and sales, suggesting means to improve strategy and effectiveness.
  • Network with colleagues in other franchises and cross-functional departments to enhance own franchise systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or healthcare.
  • 5+ years of experience in upstream marketing, product management, product development, or strategic marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience with product lifecycle management and conducting assessments of sophisticated markets.
  • Ability to influence leadership and key stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
