Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • Conduct surface care tasks, such as dusting, sanitizing, and polishing
  • Ensure waste removal and recycling are handled efficiently
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and restocking supplies
  • Comply with safety protocols and procedures
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Use personal protective equipment as required
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand and report on environmental conditions
  • Transport equipment and supplies as needed
  • Assist with restocking restrooms and break rooms
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 1 year of custodial experience preferred
  • Passing a drug test will be required
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test
  • Cleaning experience preferred
  • Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Knowledge of basic math concepts, including addition and subtraction
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and measures
  • Valid driver's license required if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time
  • Bilingual preferred, not required

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 5:00AM - 2:00PM. The compensation for this role is $14.50 per hour.
