The Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner, ensuring great guest experiences. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner.
- Lead communication between the servers and culinary team.
- Read kitchen tickets to ensure quality and accuracy of all orders.
- Monitor and observe guests' dining experience, ensuring guests are satisfied with the food and service.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to the server immediately.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
- Assist bussers as needed with clearing tables, especially during peak periods.
- Provide guidance to guests on dining options and general attraction information.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
- At least two years of experience in the food and beverage industry as a busser or food runner.
- Ability to skillfully carry three entrée plates at the same time for long distances.
- Ability to retain and recite menu details.
- Understanding of the expo process in a fine dining restaurant.
- Ability to read kitchen tickets and understand seat number, table numbers, and course breakdowns.
- Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, table settings, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting during set up and execution of service.
- Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to effectively listen and take direction from a supervisor.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a smile.
- Ability to transport up to 50lbs on a continuous basis.
- Ability to be standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Ability to read, speak, and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.
- Working email to communicate with managers.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and regulations. Complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.
Pay Rate$20.00/hr
