Job Summary

The Guest Experience Coordinator is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner, ensuring great guest experiences. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner.
  • Lead communication between the servers and culinary team.
  • Read kitchen tickets to ensure quality and accuracy of all orders.
  • Monitor and observe guests' dining experience, ensuring guests are satisfied with the food and service.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to the server immediately.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
  • Assist bussers as needed with clearing tables, especially during peak periods.
  • Provide guidance to guests on dining options and general attraction information.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in the food and beverage industry as a busser or food runner.
  • Ability to skillfully carry three entrée plates at the same time for long distances.
  • Ability to retain and recite menu details.
  • Understanding of the expo process in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Ability to read kitchen tickets and understand seat number, table numbers, and course breakdowns.
  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, table settings, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting during set up and execution of service.
  • Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from a supervisor.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a smile.
  • Ability to transport up to 50lbs on a continuous basis.
  • Ability to be standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.
  • Working email to communicate with managers.

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and regulations. Complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training.

Pay Rate

$20.00/hr
