At United Parcel Service, we're not just delivering packages – we're delivering smiles. As a Driver Helper, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with Package Delivery Drivers to ensure that every customer receives their packages on time and in great condition.

This is a seasonal role that requires flexibility and a can-do attitude. You'll be assigned work in the morning based on operational needs and your availability, and you'll be provided with a meet point where the driver will pick you up. This is a great opportunity to learn the ropes, build your skills, and make a real impact on our customers' lives.

As a Driver Helper, you'll be responsible for helping to load and unload packages, making deliveries, and greeting customers with a smile. You'll work together with your driver to ensure that every delivery is made safely and efficiently, and you'll be an ambassador for our company, representing our values of professionalism, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires a lot of energy and stamina, as you'll be on your feet all day, lifting packages, and navigating through various environments. But it's also a lot of fun, and you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people, learn new skills, and develop your problem-solving abilities.

  • Physical stamina – you'll be on your feet all day, lifting packages, and navigating through various environments.
  • Ability to work in a team – you'll be working closely with Package Delivery Drivers to ensure that every customer receives their packages on time and in great condition.
  • Strong communication skills – you'll be interacting with customers, drivers, and other team members, so you'll need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Flexibility – you'll be assigned work in the morning based on operational needs and your availability, so you'll need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Reliability – you'll be responsible for helping to load and unload packages, making deliveries, and greeting customers with a smile, so you'll need to be reliable and trustworthy.
