Overview:
Enhances patient care by delivering specialized mobility assistance tailored to individual mobility assessments and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:


Collaborates with clinical personnel to facilitate patient mobility, monitors vital signs as necessary for mobility requirements, and accurately records information in the electronic medical record.

Identifies and communicates any unusual findings or alterations in physical, emotional, or mental conditions to nursing and/or therapy teams.

Accountable for documenting mobility progress and coordinating care with nursing and therapy staff, utilizing Epic to support clinical evaluations.

Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of mobility equipment and the unit, adhering to infection control protocols.
Requires critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate with minimal oversight. Must thrive in a dynamic environment and respond appropriately.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required Education:
No formal education required.

Required Licensure/Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. Relevant life support certification as determined by the position level.

Minimum Experience:
No prior experience required.
