Position SummaryAs a technician specializing in power and manual wheelchairs, as well as customized seating and adaptive devices, you will utilize your mechanical skills to enhance the quality of life for clients facing mobility challenges. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our clients have access to well-fitted and reliable mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct repairs on specialized and high-end wheelchairs and complex rehabilitation equipment for ASM LLC clients, which includes scheduling pick-ups and deliveries, providing loaner equipment, ordering parts, and documenting repairs for billing purposes.
- Assist with the delivery and setup of equipment as directed by the Rehabilitation Specialist or Assistive Technology Professional.
- Receive and assemble equipment and parts according to specifications as required.
- Maintain an organized workflow for processing service orders, ensuring all related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide comprehensive reports on repair findings through our documentation system, including quoting necessary parts for repairs and responding promptly to requests for additional information.
- Utilize our software system for documenting service orders and managing inventory, including order entry and report writing.
- Keep the warehouse and inventory areas clean and organized to enhance operational efficiency.
At ASM LLC, we provide:

- 3-5 years of experience in rehabilitation or approved training preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 85 lbs occasionally, with the capacity to stand, sit, and drive as required throughout the workday.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Excellent driving record is mandatory.
