Position Overview: Enhance Your Career Path

The Retail Key Carrier Coordinator position serves as a pivotal role within our store operations. This position involves alternating responsibilities based on the store's needs, primarily functioning as a Coordinator while occasionally stepping into the Key Carrier role. Key Carriers play a vital leadership role in ensuring all store operations run smoothly. Candidates must possess flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, and exemplify outstanding customer service.

  • Fosters a positive experience for both internal and external customers
  • Encourages a culture of transparency and integrity while maintaining confidentiality
  • Acts as the Manager on Duty, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Oversees the store team to ensure tasks align with operational plans; prioritizes effectively
  • Addresses immediate customer service concerns and provides constructive coaching to Associates
  • Utilizes discretion in customer service policies to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintains appropriate Associate coverage in service areas to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Ensures compliance with all operational procedures by Associates
  • Implements opening and closing procedures in line with company guidelines
  • Communicates effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates
  • Offers and receives recognition and constructive feedback
  • Collaborates with management to identify Associate training needs for improved effectiveness
  • Ensures compliance with all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promotes credit and loyalty initiatives
  • Participates in shrink reduction efforts and programs
  • Advocates for safety awareness and maintains a secure environment
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Team-oriented, effectively collaborating with peers and supervisors
  • Able to adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Familiarity with company standard software, systems, and procedures
  • Understanding of merchandise flow within retail environments
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of coaching, delegating, and following up on multiple tasks
  • Able to respond promptly under challenging circumstances
  • Skilled in multitasking
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with at least 6 months in a leadership capacity
