About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Key Carrier and Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Key Carrier, you will alternate between performing the role of Coordinator and taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policy and procedure
  • Act as Manager on Duty, ensuring store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan and prioritizing as needed
  • Address immediate customer service issues and provide coaching to Associates, exercising discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
  • Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience and ensure Associates adhere to all operational procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates, setting and addressing priorities and providing progress updates
  • Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates, partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting credit and loyalty programs and supporting shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Team player with effective communication and organizational skills, able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures, as well as merchandise flow in stores
  • Proven problem-solving skills, able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks
  • Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances, capable of multi-tasking and possessing superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour, with actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
