Job Title: Senior Manager Corporate Accounting

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Corporate Accounting to join our team. As a key member of our accounting leadership, you will be responsible for leading the monthly close process, overseeing complex entries and adjustments, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly close process and review complex entries and adjustments for the corporate accounting function.
  • Oversee the monthly accounting processes associated with the Company's AR Securitization program.
  • Maintain highly technical accounting knowledge and decision support in evaluating judgmental areas of accounting.
  • Ensure financial controls are operating effectively and manage multiple close deadlines across 4 ERP systems.
  • Provide accounting perspective and support to senior Finance and Accounting leaders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX requirements.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • BS/BA in a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • CPA required.
