U.S. Farathane is seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Assistant to support plant operations by assisting in the administration of safety human resource procedures. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role and/or an Associate's degree, with a strong background in HR and Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant hourly positions and coordinate the onboarding process for all new employees.
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
- Assist with payroll functions, including hourly timecard review, processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Prepare new employee files.
- Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provide clerical support to the HR department.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events, such as benefits enrollment, plant meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role and/or an Associate's degree.
- 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Office.
- HR experience preferred in a manufacturing or plant environment.
