About the Job

As a Client Service Executive - Insurance Specialist at Vets Hired, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and managing ongoing account service activities. This includes overseeing account service activities, delivering invoices, and managing receivables in conjunction with the Client Sales Executive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management
    • Coordinate activities on XLP accounts, review and deliver summaries, proposals, and policies, and evaluate claims data to advise clients on risk management needs.
    • Present and participate in meetings with clients, maintain current Insurance Summaries on accounts, and update COWs annually on all accounts.
  • Renewal Process Management
    • Manage strategy development and initiate client contact to coordinate renewal strategy meetings, gather renewal underwriting information, and prepare and update underwriting specifications.
    • Coordinate coverage placement, review and deliver binders, invoices, and advise clients of recent account-specific factors that may affect Carrier quotes or requirements.
  • Claim Advocacy and Management
    • Develop and maintain a computer-based task system of events and diary of routine status updates for E&O claims, actively manage assigned claims independently, and participate in client claim reviews.
    • Review and summarize coverage positions, including evaluation of coverage denials and reservations of rights, and present analysis and recommendations to clients.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort, facilitate problem-solving and collaboration when faced with client difficulties, and focus the team on internal and external client requirements.
    • Work closely with department managers and directors to obtain necessary resources, discuss project impediments, and escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of daily World Class Client service experience, or a minimum of 6 years industry experience showing increasing responsibility directly related to the performance of the above duties.
  • Maintain a valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors license and a valid Driver's License.
  • Achieve and maintain advanced insurance designations applicable to the above duties, such as CPCU or CIC designations.
  • Excellent understanding of insurance terminology, trends, and factors influencing the industry, and proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as the use of office equipment such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment, with occasional travel to client sites required.
