Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including food preparation, production, and presentation.

  • Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Implement and maintain strict food safety and quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize Kitchen Efficiency: Analyze kitchen operations and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Assume Executive Chef Role: Act as Executive Chef in the absence of the incumbent, ensuring seamless kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Requirements
  • Culinary Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts preferred.
  • Culinary Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of cooking experience in a fine dining environment, with experience in a culinary leadership role preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with managers, kitchen staff, and guests.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling Certification required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods, with the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
