Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist working within the Stem Cell Laboratory performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. You will utilize scientific principles and technical expertise to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and completion of a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program. Additionally, you must have six months of blood banking experience and certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, with shifts ranging from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. You will be required to work on-call every third week/weekend and work 80 hours every two weeks.
Compensation
The hourly range for this position is $41.50 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
