Exciting Opportunity in Molecular, Flow Cytometry, and Cell Therapy
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in the Avera Laboratory, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to groundbreaking research in molecular, flow cytometry, and cell therapy.
Student Loan Repayment Program
Avera offers a Student Loan Repayment Program, which provides an additional $167 per month (up to $10,000) to help you pay off your student loans and achieve financial stability.
Job Summary
The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties, utilizing scientific principles and technical expertise to ensure accurate and timely results.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program. Prior experience in blood banking, stem cell handling, flow cytometry, and molecular techniques is highly desirable.
Work Schedule
The Medical Laboratory Scientist will work Monday-Friday, with shifts ranging from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. On-call duties will be required every 3rd week/weekend. The position is full-time, with 80 hours worked every 2 weeks.
