About the PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in scientific principles, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in stem cell handling and processing, flow cytometry, and molecular diagnostics is highly desirable.
Responsibilities- Perform clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties in the Stem Cell Laboratory
- Utilize scientific principles and technical skills to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and procedure/instrument maintenance activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in molecular diagnostics and cell therapy
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program
- One to two years of experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT for the Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT

This position may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment. Additionally, Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program may be available to help pay off student loans and save money.
