Job Title: Customer Service Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Manager to join our team at Smart and Final. As a Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining service standards in the store, performing management-assigned duties, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer friendly and courteous assistance to customers by providing them with store and product information.
  • Communicate bulletin information to associates to ensure all that need to be aware of updates/changes are advised.
  • Monitor the front end ensuring service standards and procedures are being followed.
  • Operate a cash register, review price changes, promotional plans, bulletins, and communicate with associates regarding updates/changes.
  • Maintain store sections, as assigned. Order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Review invoices/load bills for accuracy. Stock shelves, end stacks, displays, and deli/freezer cases. Set up promotional displays.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate forms and data entry. Perform check out function at the end of each business day.

Requirements:

  • One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Retail Management Certificate is desirable.
